Job Path Coaching

Job Path Coaching offers tools to maximise your jobseeking skills and to ensure finding yourself a job. Your will receive personal coaching and be rallied on by a peer group.

Job Path Coaching starts with a 5-day coaching in groups where you map your skills and prepare your jobseeking plan together with your coach. Your coach will help you prepare the necessary documents required for applying for a job, and offers you tips on how to find a job using the various channels.

After the 5-day period, coaching continues for an additional three months. Each month, you will receive a minimum of three hours of coaching in a group or privately with your coach. In addition to your coach, you will receive assistance from a recruitment expert and an expert on educational services.

You may be eligible for unemployment benefit during coaching.

Coaching is provided by a service provider partnering with the Uusimaa TE Office. The coaches are professionals experienced in jobseeking and career planning. Job Path Coaching is available in the Uusimaa TE Office region as follows:

Career Path Coaching

Career Path Coaching helps you identify your strengths, find new paths in your career, or even a completely new career! Career Path Coaching starts with a 15-day coaching in groups where you map your skills and the vocational and career options available for you together with your coach.

After the 15-day period, coaching continues for an additional three calendar months. You will receive support and guidance on seeking for a job, and finding suitable employment or training and applying for it. Each month, you will receive a minimum of three hours of coaching in a group or privately with your coach. In addition to your coach, you will receive assistance from a recruitment expert and an expert on educational services.

You may be eligible for unemployment benefit during coaching.

Career Path Coaching in plain Finnish

Career Path Coaching in plain Finnish offers information on working and studies using simplified language. Your coach helps you find out what kind of work you would like to do and what are your skills. You will be told how to apply for a job or into a school. During coaching, you can visit schools and work places.
First, there is coaching in a group. This lasts for 25 days. After this, your coaching will continue for the next 3 calendar months. You will receive guidance circa 3 hours every month. You will receive help from your coach, a recruitment expert, an expert on educational services and a Finnish language teacher.
The service is free of charge, and you may receive unemployment benefit during the coaching period.

Career Path Coaching in plain Finnish is organised in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa. This will be a good option for you, if you are still practicing your Finnish or if you need guidance and support in plain Finnish for some other reason. Your language skill level must be A2.2 or higher. This means that you can participate in the discussion and write common words and sentences.
