Employment and Economic Development Offices offer various services for entrepreneurs, for those interested in becoming entrepreneurs and those starting their business activities. Among the most important services are the evaluation of the business concept and development guidance.
With EGF support, it is also possible to train to become an entrepreneur. For example, training orienting towards entrepreneurship as well as coaching and vocational examinations for entrepreneurs are arranged as labour market training. EGF support is also available for the Start-up grant. The Start-up grant secures the livelihood of an entrepreneur for the period of the estimated initiation and establishment of business operations, at most for 18 months, however. The Start-up grant is made up of two parts: the basic support and the additional part. In 2018, the basic support amounted to 32.40 euros/day.
It is possible to flexibly combine the Start-up grant and entrepreneurship training. For example, one can start entrepreneurship training while still receiving Start-up grant.
